Privacy Policy for Helpfl

Last updated: June 13, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Helpfl ("Helpfl", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Helpfl mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

Action required before publishing: replace the bracketed placeholders (legal entity name, jurisdiction, and contact email) and host this page at the URL configured in the app (https://helpfl.io/privacy).

1. Who We Are

The App is provided by [Your legal name / company], located in [Country/State]. For any privacy questions you can contact us at [[email protected]].

2. Information We Collect

We collect the minimum information needed to run the App.

Account information. When you create an account we use Sign in with Apple and/or email-based authentication. We receive an email address and a unique user identifier. If you use Sign in with Apple and choose to hide your email, we receive Apple's private relay address instead.

Your content. The habits, routines, app-blocking presets, NFC tag associations, and related settings you create are stored so they can sync to your account.

Screen Time / device activity data. Helpfl uses Apple's Family Controls, Managed Settings, and Device Activity frameworks to help you block and unblock selected apps. The selection of apps and categories you choose to manage stays on your device and is handled by Apple's framework. We do not receive, store, or transmit the list of apps you use or block, and we cannot see your activity in other apps.

Diagnostic information. The App keeps a local "Shield Engine Log" on your device to help you troubleshoot blocking behaviour. This stays on-device unless you choose to share it with us for support.

We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos, health data, or advertising identifiers.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to:

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

4. How Your Information Is Stored and Shared

Backend hosting (Supabase). Account data and your content are stored using Supabase, a cloud database and authentication provider, acting as our data processor. Data is protected in transit using encryption (HTTPS/TLS).

Apple. Authentication (Sign in with Apple) and subscription purchases are handled by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy. We never receive your full payment card details.

We disclose information only to these service providers as needed to operate the App, or where required by law.

5. Subscriptions

Helpfl offers an auto-renewing subscription ("Helpfl Pro"). Purchases and renewals are processed by Apple through your Apple Account. We receive subscription status (active / not active) to unlock features, but we do not receive your payment details. See the Terms of Use for subscription terms.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account inside the App. Deleting your account permanently removes your habits, tags, presets, and account record from our backend. Some records may persist briefly in encrypted backups before being overwritten.

7. Children's Privacy

Helpfl is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. You can exercise deletion directly in the App, or contact us at [[email protected]] for other requests.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated in the App where appropriate.
